The Department of Technical Safety and Industrial Environment (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that the water level of the hydropower reservoir in the North increased rapidly, 7m to 20m higher than the dead water level.
On the morning of June 27, the Department of Safety Techniques and Industrial Environment (Ministry of Industry and Trade) sent a report to Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien on the operation of hydropower reservoirs.
Accordingly, the flow to hydropower reservoirs in the North, Southeast, and Central Highlands decreased slightly; North Central region increased slightly compared to yesterday;
In the South Central Coast region, the flow to the lake is low, slightly fluctuating compared to yesterday. The discharge to reservoirs in Ha Giang, Bac Kan and Lang Son provinces has peaked and decreased gradually. The water level of the hydropower reservoir in the North has increased rapidly, 7m to 20m higher than the dead water level;
The North Central and Southeast regions increased slightly; The Central Highlands and South Central Coast region decreased slightly compared to yesterday, the water level of the lakes was within the minimum water level according to the regulations of the operation process.
The flow and water level in the hydropower reservoirs in the North have increased, the large reservoirs are raising the water level, limiting the mobilization of power generation to prepare for the next heat wave, some small and medium lakes overflow freedom had to regulate the flood water.
The amount of water in some lakes in the North Central and Southeast is low, mainly regulating water to ensure minimum flow, generating electricity in moderation to ensure the safety of the unit when operating, and raising the water level for power generation.
Low-water lakes: Thac Ba, Ban Ve, Dong Nai 3, Thac Mo. Some hydroelectricity power generation is limited, moderate with flow, water level, low capacity: Thac Ba, Ban Ve, Thac Mo, Dong Nai 3. The Department of Industrial Safety and Environment forecasts the hydrological situation, the 24-hour water flow to the lakes in the North region will decrease slightly at a high level; The North Central, Central Highlands, and Southeast regions increased slightly; The South Central Coast region decreased slightly, at a low level.
